The Table is a community wide food pantry, a ministry of Living Word Church that exists to help those in need within the Syracuse and surrounding areas.

The need in our community is great, as the city of Syracuse is the ninth poorest city in the country with individuals in some ZIP codes experiencing poverty at extreme levels.  Poverty impacts people in all situations, from senior citizens having to make a choice between paying their heating bill or skipping meals, to children experiencing issues of deep food insecurity, to military families and veterans unable to plan for their next meal.

Our dedicated team of 120+ individuals runs solely on volunteers who are co-directed by a team of four leaders with extensive nonprofit business management experience and who also volunteer their time and talent to the food pantry.

We are looking for partners who want to donate funds or materials toward this important endeavor, and would be happy to share additional information with you. Please note that 100% of all donations go directly toward The Table food pantry.
